Earlier this week, one of this most horrific of attacks occured in Somalia that caused over 200 deaths. The Somali-American Minnesota State Representative noted this over Twitter:
Just imagine an attack of this magnitude happening in πͺπΊ or the πΊπΈ? The world would be mourning. Where is there #JeSuisMogadishu profiles π« pic.twitter.com/kgghOL9l6O— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) October 15, 2017
What is noted below from the UN continues to underscore the
profound challenges in Our World as the forgotten Wars in
Afghanistan and Yemen linger on. Our team was also on the lookout
to see if there were any statements on the loss of the 4 American
Special Forces in Niger--but nothing out of the White House:
@UNFoundation: Staggering stat: 22% of children between the ages of 6-15 are missing out on school in conflict zones across 22 countries. #NotATarget
What was telling was the staggering number of children missing out of conflicts around the World.
