This published in the Wall Street Journal made the argument that it all began with Bill Clinton. But the circumstances have changed and people are being held to account underscored by the resignation of US Senator Al Franken from the US Senate last week. Senator Shelby, the Senior Republican Senator, was as forceful as he could be on this subject.
As we went to press, the People of Alabama had begun voting. The latest will be available by visiting all the key Networks here in the United States (CNN ; FOXNews; MSNBC). The challenge faced by the GOP, though, was captured by an Editorial in Red State available here.
