We wanted to dedicate this week here throughout all of our properties here at the Daily Outsider Outsiders to National Service as President Trump's Budget blueprint has called for the elimination of the Corporation For National Service that spearheads National Service Throughout the United States and The World. It is the primary Federal Agency responsible for innovative ideas like that President's National Service Award that has been at the forefront of elevating Civic Engagement. Our team has also been witness to AmeriCorp Fellows being placed at Non-Profits throughout the United States including right here in Orange County California at leading Non- Profits including one organization we have supported-Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. It underscores what was noted by the Corporation for National Service (as we are honored to join #Mayor4Service, #County4Service, or #Tribe4Service ) as we hope that this will prompt the Administration to seriously reconsider its' elimination.
