Notations On Our World: On The Latest Out of Gaza

The United Nations Security Council has just concluded deliberations as the protests continue as we went to press.    The US Ambassador and the Israeli Ambassador accused Hamas of provoking violence--even though it is hereby noted that Hamas does not need to provoke in light of the profound challenges being faced by the residents of Gaza.  l This is as our team released this courtesy of Al Jazeera about the reality of life in Jerusalem:

The US Ambassador walked out as the Palestianina representative began to speak.   The Palestinian Ambassador walked out when the Israeli Ambassador began to speak.    Israel and Turkey have thrown their senior diplomats as deaths continue to mount as we went to press.

Notations From the Grid (Weekly Edition): Random Thoughts On Our World....

We begin with this courtesy of the team at Goldman Sachs as the challenge of Tribalism in our political process which we view as quite timely in light of what is on-going in Washington:

Israel Yesterday

As we have been assessing the aftermath of what happened in Israel yesterday, we captured this courtesy of Vala Afshar (a favorite of ours as we tend to curation of Twitter) as we leave you w/this:
Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. —Mark Twain

Notations On Our World (Weekly Edition): Out & About In the Middle East as a New Week Dawns...

United States Embassy Move to Jerusalem will be official as of May 15 as Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner and the Secretary of the Treasury have arrived in Israel as we went to Press with this weekly edition of Notations.      For Palestinians, it signifies the Status quote and this image was quite telling as captured by Al Jazeera:

For Palestinians, US embassy move cements occupation status quo

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs released this in anticipation of the week to underscore the Government of Israel's View:

Welcome to Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel!

3,000 years ago, King David made Jerusalem his capital. Since the re-establishment of the Jewish State in the Jews' ancestral homeland in 1948, it serves as Israel's capital, where world leaders come to meet with Israel's leaders, where most government ministries are situated, as well as Israel's Parliament, Supreme court & many National institutions.
Welcome to Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel!

This has been reported out by the Times of Israel as Hamas in Gaza has called for a day of protest as Israel Defense Forces spread leaflets telling Gazans to stay away from the border-.   Haaret is reporting that One of the speakers at the Official Opening of the Embassy will be a Pastor who slammed Islam.   This is as Iran begins a round of diplomatic rounds to try and mitigate the President's Decision regarding Iran, the World awaits the results of the Iraqi Elections, Turkey is in the midst of a surprisingly vibrant Presidential Campaign and as Yemen and Syria continue  to Burn:
